Welcome to the full Kate Koel catalog. This is every handmade piece in one place: over 250 one-of-a-kind rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, all made by hand in our Florida studio. Inside each crystal you'll find real crushed gemstones (lapis, malachite, abalone shell, garnet, rhodonite, turquoise, pyrite, unakite, and many more), often combined with Swarovski crystals, metal foils, real dried pressed flowers, and pigments, then sealed under clear glass-like resin. Each piece is one-of-a-kind because no two pours of crushed stone settle the same way.
The Kate Koel aesthetic is structured geometric shapes paired with colorful gemstones, modern silhouettes with the warmth of natural materials inside. Chains, ring bands, and earring posts are 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, or surgical steel, which means the pieces are long-wearing, comfortable, and suitable for sensitive ears. Statement earrings are dramatic but lightweight. Tiny studs are designed for everyday wear and consistent compliments. The full catalog ranges from $30 to $415, with most pieces between $60 and $135, so whether you're shopping for yourself, building a matching gift set, or experimenting with color and shape combinations, there's something at every price point.
Frequently asked questions
The full Kate Koel catalog currently includes over 250 active pieces across rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, organized into roughly 28 themed collections. New pieces are added regularly, with several launches per season, so the catalog grows continuously. The fastest way to see what's just arrived is the New In collection, which is updated as soon as new designs go live.
Most pieces are part of a permanent collection (Galaxy, Vacation Treasures, Crushed Stones, Lucky, Floral Romance, etc.) and are made to order whenever you place an order. Some pieces are limited editions or seasonal drops, particularly the holiday-themed collections (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Spring Rose, Fall), which rotate based on the calendar. If you're following a specific piece, signing up for the Kate Koel email list will notify you when new variations or restocks become available.
Kate Koel pieces are made with skin-friendly metals chosen specifically for sensitive wearers. Earring posts are surgical steel, 14k gold-filled, or sterling silver, all three of which are generally suitable for sensitive ears. Surgical steel is the same material used in medical implants and is considered the safest option for freshly pierced or very sensitive ears. Ring bands and chains are 14k gold-filled or sterling silver (.925), both of which are widely considered hypoallergenic for the majority of wearers.
If you have a known severe nickel allergy, sterling silver and surgical steel options are generally your safest bet. The 14k gold-filled metal has a brass core, which can contain trace nickel, but the thick gold layer prevents skin contact under normal wearing conditions. For severe allergies, please reach out before ordering and we'll help you identify the right metal option for your needs. The clear resin sealing each gemstone crystal is non-reactive and safe against skin.
Every Kate Koel piece is made by hand in the Florida studio. The process starts with mixing the crushed gemstones, foils, flowers, or other materials into liquid resin, then pouring the mixture into a mold to form the signature glass-like crystal. The resin cures for several hours until completely solid. Every step is done by hand, which is why no two pieces are ever identical.
Because pieces are made to order rather than mass-produced, the standard production timeline is 1-3 weeks from the date of your order, plus shipping time. For time-sensitive gifts (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, weddings, birthdays), please order at least 2-3 weeks in advance to allow for production and delivery. If you have a hard deadline, mention it in your order notes and we'll do our best to accommodate, though rush production isn't always possible during peak seasons.
What Makes Kate Koel Jewelry One-of-a-Kind
The thing that makes Kate Koel different from any other handmade jewelry brand is what's actually inside the crystal. While most resin jewelry uses dye, or printed images for color, every Kate Koel crystal is built around real crushed semi-precious gemstones. That means real malachite gives you the deep green swirls you can't fake. Real abalone shell brings the iridescent peacock flash. Real turquoise gives the teal blues. Real rhodonite brings the pink and black contrast. Real unakite delivers the moss-green and salmon combination that no synthetic material can replicate.
These crushed gemstones are mixed with Swarovski crystals (for sparkle), real metal foils (for warmth), pressed flowers (in the floral collections), and color pigments, then encapsulated under clear resin and set into structured geometric mounts. Every piece is poured and assembled by hand, which is why no two pieces are ever identical. If you order the same ring twice, you'll get two rings with the same shape and the same gemstone, but the pattern inside the crystal will be different every time.
This is the opposite of mass production, and it's why people who own Kate Koel pieces tend to come back for more. You're not buying a copy of something. You're buying one of one.

If you know what kind of piece you want, start with the category parents.

Shop by Gemstone — Turquoise, Malachite, Abalone, Lapis & More
If you're drawn to a particular gemstone, the catalog organizes around the major stone families. Each gemstone has its own dedicated collection so you can shop all the pieces with that material in one place.
Lapis Lazuli — Deep cobalt blue with gold pyrite flecks, the regal blue stone of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Malachite — Banded forest green with darker stripes, often called the "stone of transformation."
Abalone Shell — Iridescent peacock-blue and green shifting tones, from real ocean shell.
Howlite — Soft white with grey veining, calming and modern, often called the "marble stone."
Vacation Treasures (Turquoise & Larimar) — Ocean blue palette with real turquoise, mother of pearl, Larimar, and Swarovski.
Galaxy — Deep cosmic black, blue, and purple with shimmer for the celestial-themed pieces.
Crushed Stones — The full mixed-gemstone collection where multiple stones combine inside a single crystal.
Lucky Collection — Lucky red with gold leaf accents, the evergreen color story.
Floral Romance — Real pressed flowers preserved inside clear resin.
Shimmer Foils — Hand-laid metal foil flecks inside resin, sparkle without stones.
Shop by Style — Statement, Everyday Studs & Stacking Rings
Sometimes you don't know what gemstone you want, you just know the vibe.
For dramatic, conversation-starting pieces, the Statement Earrings collection and statement gemstone rings are where you'll find the biggest, boldest pieces in the catalog. These are wedding-guest, vacation-photo, and "I want to be noticed" pieces.
For daily wear that doesn't get in the way, the Stud Earrings collection and Everyday Essentials hold the workhorses: tiny studs, thin bands, and minimal necklaces designed to layer with whatever else you wear.
For stacking and layering, the Ring Sets collection gives you pre-built combinations, and the Dangling Earrings collection gives you the movement and softness that pairs beautifully with everyday studs.
For anything that's brand new, the New In collection shows the most recent additions to the catalog. We add new pieces regularly, so this is the easiest way to see what's just landed.
Shop by Occasion — Gifts, Weddings, Birthdays & Everyday
Handmade jewelry makes one of the most personal gifts you can give, because no two pieces are identical. You're literally giving them one of one.
For wedding-related gifts (bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride), the Vacation Treasures collection (ocean blues for beach weddings), the Floral Romance collection (soft, romantic pressed-flower pieces), and the Soulful One collection (personalized initials and meaningful charms) all work beautifully. Statement earrings make especially photogenic bridal gifts.
For birthdays and "just because" gifts, you can shop by the recipient's birth color or favorite gemstone. The Crushed Stones collection is the most versatile because it mixes multiple stones, so it's hard to get wrong.
For Mother's Day, anniversaries, and milestone moments, the Meaningful Initials collection lets you personalize a piece with letters, and the Soulful One collection holds the most meaningful designs.
For everyday "treat yourself" purchases, the studs and stacking rings under $65 are the most popular self-gift category. Small, daily-wear, no occasion required.
If you're not sure what to choose, e-gift cards are available in any denomination and let the recipient pick exactly what they want.
What's Inside Every Piece — Real Crushed Gemstones, Pressed Flowers & Metal Foils
The materials list inside a Kate Koel crystal is unlike any other handmade jewelry brand.
Crushed semi-precious gemstones are the foundation of most collections: lapis lazuli, malachite, abalone shell, garnet, rhodonite, turquoise, pyrite, unakite, mother of pearl, Larimar, and others. The stones are crushed (not whole) so they can be suspended in resin and create the swirling, organic patterns inside each crystal.
Swarovski crystals are added to many pieces for sparkle. Swarovski crystals are cut for maximum light return, which is why even a tiny amount adds noticeable shine.
Real dried pressed flowers appear in the Floral Romance collection. The flowers are pressed flat, dried, then sealed inside resin so they keep their shape and color indefinitely.
Metal foils (gold-toned and silver-toned leaf) appear in the Shimmer Foils, Galaxy, and Lucky collections. These are real metal leaf flecks, not printed patterns, set into the resin while it's still liquid.
Color pigments are added in small amounts to deepen or modify the base resin color, helping create signature palettes (deep galaxy blues, lucky reds, ocean turquoises).
Clear glass-like resin seals everything together. Once cured, the resin acts as a permanent protective layer around the materials inside, so the gemstones, flowers, and foils stay exactly where they were placed and don't shift or fade with normal wear.
Materials & Care — 14k Gold-Filled, Sterling Silver & Sensitive-Skin Wearers
The metals used in Kate Koel pieces are chosen for durability, comfort, and skin-friendliness.
14k gold-filled is the warm gold metal used for ring bands, chains, and many earring posts. It's not gold plating, it's a thick layer of real 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base metal core, which means it lasts much longer than plating and resists tarnishing. Gold-filled jewelry is generally safe for most sensitive skin wearers.
Sterling silver (.925) is the cooler-toned option used across rings, chains, and earring posts. Sterling silver is hypoallergenic for most wearers and is the standard for fine silver jewelry.
Surgical steel is used for some earring posts. It's the same material used in medical implants, which is why it's safe for very sensitive ears, freshly pierced ears, or anyone who reacts to other metals.
Rhodium-plated brass appears as the silver-toned color in some pendant frames. It looks like silver but is more affordable and durable for larger statement pieces.
Caring for your jewelry: Store dry, avoid prolonged contact with perfume, hand sanitizer, hairspray, sunscreen, and chlorinated pool water. Remove before showering, swimming, and sleeping. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. For deeper cleaning, see the jewelry care guide.
Every piece is made to order in the Kate Koel Florida studio, with a 1-3 week production timeline.
