Genuine crushed lapis lazuli and flecks of golden pyrite, suspended in a large hand-poured oval crystal. Lapis is the deep royal blue that ancient Egypt ground into pigment and Renaissance painters saved for the robes of saints a blue with no substitute, then or now. The pyrite runs through it in small gold sparks, the way lapis has always come out of the ground.
At this scale, the stone gets to be the whole point. There's enough surface here to see the depth in the blue and the way the pyrite catches at different angles, which is exactly what a smaller crystal can't give you. Every one is poured by hand, so the stone falls differently in each pair and no two are ever alike.
The hook is 14k gold filled a warm gold against the royal blue, and comfortable enough on the ear that you'll forget it's there. Gold filled means a durable finish that won't change color or irritate, so it's a safer choice for sensitive ears.

Every piece starts with materials I would wear every day myself. USA made 14k gold filled or sterling silver, natural stones, and pressed flowers I set by hand. Here is exactly what goes into each part.
14k Gold Filled
Gold filled is not plating. A thick layer of solid 14k gold is bonded to a jeweler's brass core under heat and pressure, so the piece carries about 100 times more gold than a thin flash plate. That is why it holds its color through daily wear instead of rubbing thin at the edges.
925 Sterling Silver
Solid sterling, bright and cool against the skin. I also offer an oxidized finish, a soft blackened patina that deepens the look of a stack and sits beautifully next to your gold pieces.
Signature Crystals
This is the part I also make by hand. Semi-precious gemstones, real dried botanicals, and Swarovski crystals, arranged one at a time and sealed under UV stable resin that stays glass-clear rather than yellowing. Because the elements are natural, no two are ever exactly alike.
